Filing a Complaint on National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal

Cyber crmere reporting portal is an initiative of Government of India to facilitate victims/complainants to report cyber crime complaints online instead of personally going to police station. At present this portal caters to complaints pertaining to online Child Pornography (CP)-Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or sexually explicit content such as Rape/Gang Rape (CP/RGR) content. The portal also provides an option of reporting an anonymous complaint, where complainants are not required to disclose their identity.

Process of Filing a Complaint on National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal

1. Go to "cybercrime.gov.in". You will see following page.

 2. Click on "File a complaint" button.  Then,  you will get following page.

3. Tick the check box and click on "I accept" button.
